Course Description
On completion of the EASA Part 145 Awareness Course you should be able to:

• - Define the role of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO)
• - Define the role of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)
• - Define the relationship between Parts 145, 66, 147 and M
• - Define the EASA relationship with other National Aviation Authorities
• - Identify requirements of Part 66 certifying staff
• - Identify Part 145 regulatory requirements
• - Evaluate the regulatory requirements for certification under EASA
• - Define ‘category’ certification and ‘class’ certification under EASA for a maintenance organisation
• - Describe how the certificate of Airworthiness Categories are regulated by EASA, and
• - Describe EASA Part M regulatory requirements.
